Kelci & Devan » Engaged!

Loved meeting and getting to know Kelci and Devan at Panera bread.  I immediately loved how they looked at each other and how there was excitement in each other eyes as they told me the story of how they met in college!

Kelci fell in love with Devan immediately. The first time she saw him in the UTC cafeteria, she remembers who he was with, what he was wearing including the color of his backpack!  How awesome is that?  They became friends but that all changed when he came up to her during Cinco de Mayo 2009 and bought her a drink.  The rest, as they say, is history.  They’ve been inseparable ever since!

Here’s what Devan thinks of Kelci in his own words:

“Kelci is the beautiful blonde haired blue eyed girl I have searched for since I was a little boy, and I promise I was looking early in life. When you put Kelci’s eyes and that beautiful smile together it makes me feel like nothing else in this world matters every time I see them. Her beauty on the outside is breath taking but what I can’t really put into words is how beautiful of a woman on the inside she is. Kelci has the biggest heart of any person I have ever met or had the chance to know, her compassion and genuine caring love for her family and friends is something I prayed the woman I would marry would have. She is trustworthy beyond any explanation and has not only her best intentions in mind at all times but also the best intentions of the people around her.

I can seriously say that Kelci is my best friend not just because she is who I spend the most time with; but because she is the person I have the most fun with, the person I want to spend time with and the only person on this earth God had planned for me to spend the rest of my life with. Kelci holds me accountable and has truly helped me grow into the man I am today and challenges me to be better every morning I wake up. She truly is the love of my life.”

It’s hard to say what I DON’T like about Devan. He is the most caring, compassionate, and hard working person I have ever met. Not only will he go out of his way to make sure I am completely happy, but he does it for other people, too. Devan is God’s number one fan and puts Him first in everything, especially in our relationship, and is exactly the man I have prayed for. He always makes me feel loved, safe, and so comfortable. He thinks he is funny, not to mention he’s super hot (and knows it) and I love him more at this very minute then I did when I started typing this 🙂

Now that you know their love story… visually and in their own words… how can you not fall in love with this couple!?  Crazy excited about their wedding later this year!

One last shot that proves that D-Baby doesn’t practice his “blue steel” in front of the mirror!  That’s a good thing! On the other hand, Kelci’s model pose doesn’t come any cuter! 🙂
