More pics from Sweden! We had a couple of afternoons free, so we took advantage! While we were out scouting for locations for the engagement session, we decided to have some fun…

Here we are at Parliament…

Street performers! This lady was dressed as a bee and blowing bubbles in the most artistic/slow way possible. It was unique but was something ANYONE could have done. I think her true talent was to able to do it without cracking up.

The building behind Amber is the Parliament!

Amber grabbed these two of me. Love the timing of the bike!

This was another night where I decided to take a stroll by myself to see the sites. I enjoyed striking up conversations with some interesting people at a park. One of my favorite times in Sweden.

I saw these people playing this game I’ve never seen before. Call me sheltered but I don’t think we have this in the US? It looked like fun and tons of people playing, using several courts.

And this looked really interesting too. Again, never seen this game. If anyone knows what they are, please let me know!

More plcs from around Stockholm…

We went to this small island in the Archipelagos (a series of small islands East of Stockholm). Here’s a charming little diner we ate at…

Tess Losen - As always, these are a treat to look through. I laughed out loud at ‘Stank.’ Very nice. The block game is Kubb (like cube without the ‘q’ sound). It’s tons of fun. You can find sets on ebay
Darin Wright - most fab
Mom - I love how you captured some of the personality of Stockholm in this second set! And, of course, YOUR personalities…..:)
Great shots!
Lisa Nolen - These pictures are fabulous!! Rich, how did you ever find such a gorgeous model?? LOL. As usual, you have outdone yourself.
Amber, your photos are incredible as well. You are so talented…I am so proud of you!!
kellie - Awesome, awesome pictures! I love them!! We have bocce ball too, you can come over and play sometime
melinda nicodemus - The game was bocce ball. I have a set and it is tons of fun!
Great pics and I laughed out loud and several! thanks for sharing.
Lacey - Amazing…but I expected as much.
I think the first game with the silver balls could be a form of Bocce ball. “The sport is played with one small ball (Pallino) and eight larger balls (Bocce)- four for each team. The Pallino is thrown first and becomes the target. Then each Bocce is thrown with the goal of placing it as close to the Pallino as possible.” It’s kinda like Horseshoes. Or….it could be another game entirely. But it’s a good guess, right?!
Nicholas Nolen - Taking a picture of someone as a biker passes by is artistic…and then through his arms and handle bars! Simply amazing.
Amber, you are a gorgeous, talented, beautiful, artistic, unbelievably stunning woman. I love you so much and am so proud.
Rich: I think I remember playing the game with the blocks with some Norske friends of mine. The object was to throw the stick at the other person’s blocks (which have Norse runes on them) and knock them over for varying points. Whoever knocked over the other person’s blocks first, won. I think the game is called something like “runes”
Heather Smith - Yay! These photos make me SO HAPPY! Thank you both for doing such a phenomenal job documenting your time there! I feel like I was kinda, sorta, part of your trip now! LOVE THEM! And love you two!
