Palmertree Family 2009!

Since I’ve stopped taking on any new family clients at this time and will only photograph my existing clients, it’s been a while since I’ve photographed a family. It’s been about 2 years exactly since I last photographed the Palmertree family but this time instead of very cloudy weather, we had amazing light to photograph with up on Monteagle Mountain.  Check out the link above and see how much the boys have grown!

I asked Julie if they were open to adoption because if they were, I’d be putting my application in. That’s how cool of a family they have.  The whole 2 hours, they were having a wonderful time together just being a family. I loved that I could document them interacting like that.  These boys are going love looking at these photos when they get older!

Check out some of my favorites!

We hung out around Sewanee University. Every building is made of stone. It’s beautiful!

It’s been a while since I’ve taken a silly self portrait at the end of a session! I just couldn’t resist since I had such a blast for the last 2 hours!

Thank you to the Palmertree family for letting me document your family during this time of your lives!  I absolutely love hanging out with you guys! Let’s not wait two more years to do it again! Enjoy your photos!

What other’s are saying

Something subtle, yet powerful, happens when I look at Bo. There’s an energy present that is very real and felt only between the two of us. It is the connection we have with each other, embodying all that brought us together and the love we share. I imagine that most people assume it’s there, but no one actually looks for it. Except you. Instead of taking pictures of the two of us, you capture what is between us. It is a profound gift that you have, Rich, to catch meaning in a glance or love in a touch. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us. - Rebekah Hughes
