Taco Mamacita!

Two things we love in Chattanooga: Southside Creative Group and cool small businesses that are located here.  Well, an amazing restaurant called Taco Mamacita that started here in Chattanooga recently expanded to Nashville.  Along with the expansion comes the need for new website photos.  So when Steve Hamaker from Southside called me up, we were excited to participate in his project.

The owners of Taco Mamcita, Taylor and Mike Monen, did an incredible job with their first restaurant located on North Market Street but they REALLY outdid themselves with their recently opened Nashville location. And people are absolutely loving it.  Only 7 weeks old, it’s completely shoulder to shoulder on Friday and Saturday nights. That’s pretty good with virtually no advertising at all. It just goes to show that they have something really special going on.

Here is the outside of the awesome new restaurant located close to Vanderbilt at 1200 Villa Place in the Edgehill Village area.

I got some cool detail shots but I’m always drawn to the more artistic ones.  This photo was for me. 🙂

Taylor did all of the interior decorating and just did an amazing job with it.  After leaving, I was trying to figure out what Mike and Taylor aren’t good at.  As you can see, not much.

EVERYTHING in the store is made completely from scratch with the freshest ingredients.   Hands down the best tacos I’ve ever tasted.

What other’s are saying

Something subtle, yet powerful, happens when I look at Bo. There’s an energy present that is very real and felt only between the two of us. It is the connection we have with each other, embodying all that brought us together and the love we share. I imagine that most people assume it’s there, but no one actually looks for it. Except you. Instead of taking pictures of the two of us, you capture what is between us. It is a profound gift that you have, Rich, to catch meaning in a glance or love in a touch. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us. - Rebekah Hughes
