Surprisingly enough, I met Emily’s mom at a local vendors meeting. She was just in town for a couple of days from Texas to plan a wedding… whirlwind style. So glad she found me because this family can really put on a wedding! People came from California, Texas, Florida, Michigan, Maryland and it seemed from every other state to our little town of Chattanooga to celebrate Emily and Brad’s marriage, reunite with friends and loved ones they hadn’t seen in ages, and party the night away. It was an absolute blast meeting everyone and documenting this ultra fun day!
Check out some of the photos that highlight their day!
Practicing their mad dance moves on Frazier Ave…
St. Peter and Paul Church is absolutely beautiful inside. Check out the intricate ceiling!
I love this quiet moment with Emily getting ready…
Details…
There were even gorgeous wreaths hung on the church’s double doors:

Some manly banter pre-ceremony:
A beautiful and meaningful catholic ceremony:
The bride’s entrance…
A shared moment during the ceremony between Emily and her cousins who sang the most beautiful songs…
It was great having some competition during the ceremony. He did a great job and did what he had to do to get great shots for his mom! Showing me up!
During the planned 2 hours between the ceremony and reception, we all headed to the art district to brave the chilly weather. Emily handled the cold weather like a champ. Love this photo!
I don’t think I’ve ever put a group photo from a wedding on my blog but I just had to include this one to show the wonderful personalities I had the privilege to work with during the day!
Reception details:
The band that performed was AMAZING. Brad’s dad was the drummer and was able to get EVERYONE on the dance floor at once. I’ve never seen such a crowded dance floor before. It was awesome!
We could not get enough of this energy!
Brad’s best man delivered the longest, most researched, most well prepared speech I’ve ever heard. It was so long that Emily’s dad had to pull a Kenye West on him. But in honor of how much work he put into the speech, I thought he deserved a photo by himself. Great job!
Emily’s friends went up for their speeches and began to reveal some fun facts about Emily. Thank goodness I caught her priceless reaction!
Emily’s mom and her sisters. hahaha! (Don’t kill me Nancy!)
Brad and Emily walked around handing out Italian wedding cookies and took time to explain the significance of each type of cookie to all the tables.
Yes, seriously…they are THAT much fun
And the crazy photographers for the evening. Love it when Heather photographs weddings with me!
Thank you to Emily and Brad for letting me celebrate your day with you. And what a celebration it was! You both have such amazing families! I hope you’ve enjoyed the photos from your day! Many, many more to come!
