The Campbell Family!

Ah, we just adore the Campbells.  You probably better known them as Soli Photography though!

But it’s funny…for being fellow photographers who had a million friends in common, it actually took a very long time for us to meet! But because of those mutual friends and the fabulous nature of social media, I’m pretty sure we all felt like we knew each other the very first time we met. I’m quite sure that hugs were exchanged, and really, the rest is history.

The Campbells are warm, caring, hilarious, wonderfully relatable, easy-to-love people. And with mutual friends, photographer gatherings, and our daughters being only a few months apart in age, our lives brilliantly cooincide. And even though our schedules keep all of us more than busy, we enjoy getting to see them fairly regularly, and each time we do, we are reminded of just how much we love to be around them.

And so, without further ado, let me wish Meghan and Eric a VERY happy 7th Anniversary! They’ve had a very eventful few months with a crazy workload, oh, ya, and a tree falling on their house. They have held it together beautifully, enduring the strain of not having a home, and being insanely busy, and we admire their positive attitudes. In short, we love them.

Here are some of my favorites from our time together! We started out the session with adorable four year old Madyson…

While Eric took Madyson to get situated with the babysitter, Meghan and I had accidentally got a bit silly…

And then we got to my favorite part: photographing Eric and Meghan alone! Hopefully I did my thing and these two enjoy their anniversary photos!

Love that Meghan is trying to kiss Eric’s hand here. haha

I am so glad the ranger didn’t walk by. Eric and Meghan, always the adventurers, climbed to a top of this chimney type structure which backs up to a cliff!

Had to include at least ONE b&w image. 🙂

Thanks for hanging out with me for a couple of hours and being fabulous both in front of and behind the camera!

What other’s are saying

Something subtle, yet powerful, happens when I look at Bo. There’s an energy present that is very real and felt only between the two of us. It is the connection we have with each other, embodying all that brought us together and the love we share. I imagine that most people assume it’s there, but no one actually looks for it. Except you. Instead of taking pictures of the two of us, you capture what is between us. It is a profound gift that you have, Rich, to catch meaning in a glance or love in a touch. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us. - Rebekah Hughes
