Lindsey and Nate’s funky and energetic wedding at the Church on Main was an absolute blast! There was plenty of laughter to go around, lots of love, and tons of dancing!
There may have even been a stop for some ice cream with the entire wedding party, and the bride and groom sharing an ice cream cone!
Before we share some of our favorite images from their incredible day, we want to show these talented vendors some love! These people and businesses helped to make Nate and Lindsey’s day as unique and fantastic as it was!

“Nate moved to Chattanooga for residency, and I moved to Knoxville for my own residency. Eventually I ended up in Chattanooga and he proposed on the Cumberland Trail (where we took our very first hike in Chattanooga at this really beautiful overlook). He was able to get his coworker, Hugh, off of work in order to take pictures and sneak up a bottle of Kung-fu girl and crackers/cheese. Nate asked the question, and I kind of forgot to say “yes” at first….just kissed him instead, and later clarified that I was into the whole engagement thing (to which he said, “cool”).”
Lindsey and Nate decided to have flower men instead of flower girls. And, boy, did they deliver!
Here’s the flower men in action! They took their jobs very seriously!
Rich: In a few sentences, let me know what you love about Lindsey. What draws you to her? How would you brag about her?
Rich: In a few sentences, let me know what you love about Nate. How would you brag about him?
Lindsey: Things I love about Nate: his dance skills, his passion for telling dad jokes (that are pretty terrible, but sometimes funny), his smile, and how caring he is about family/friends. He also is pretty cute and fun, and knows how to make me laugh….and his laugh is the best thing ever. He has a ridiculous love for waffle-weave fabric. He will watch Sex and the City and terrible shows like the Bachelor/Bachelorette with me. He can rap all of “Regulators”. He is quirky and awesome, and comfortable/fun to be around. He is adorable when he is hanging out with our puppies. I would brag that he could win any dance off, that he is smart, and mega adorable.
Lindsey’s dad broke down during their dance. Fortunately, someone came and rescued him with a tissue!
Pro tip: Nothing like an accidental double entendre to get the crowd laughing during toasts!
Thanks again for having me document your amazing wedding! You two are amazing together!
