A Wedding at The Church On Main | Lindsey and Nate

Lindsey and Nate’s funky and energetic wedding at the Church on Main was an absolute blast! There was plenty of laughter to go around, lots of love, and tons of dancing!

There may have even been a stop for some ice cream with the entire wedding party, and the bride and groom sharing an ice cream cone!

Before we share some of our favorite images from their incredible day, we want to show these talented vendors some love! These people and businesses helped to make Nate and Lindsey’s day as unique and fantastic as it was!

Rich: Tell me your love story! In a few paragraphs, let me know what you love about your fiance. What draws you to him? How would you brag about him?
Lindsey: We met at an apartment party (through a friend of a friend of a friend) while playing a game called Killer Bunnies. Nate was drinking beer (Coors Banquet) and I was drinking wine (Kung-fu girl) and eventually Nate made moves and sat next to me during the game. He pulled his patented move, the “patellar pat”, and now claims a 100% success rate with this move. My good friend, Ashley actually thought Nate was a little creepy (with the knee rubs). In fact, the next time Ashley asked “Did you ever get rid of that creepy guy that was hitting on you?” But Nate and I were actually going to dinner that week. 🙂

“Nate moved to Chattanooga for residency, and I moved to Knoxville for my own residency. Eventually I ended up in Chattanooga and he proposed on the Cumberland Trail (where we took our very first hike in Chattanooga at this really beautiful overlook). He was able to get his coworker, Hugh, off of work in order to take pictures and sneak up a bottle of Kung-fu girl and crackers/cheese. Nate asked the question, and I kind of forgot to say “yes” at first….just kissed him instead, and later clarified that I was into the whole engagement thing (to which he said, “cool”).”

Lindsey and Nate decided to have flower men instead of flower girls. And, boy, did they deliver!

Here’s the flower men in action! They took their jobs very seriously!

Nate: Things I love about Lindsey: she is passionate and compassionate, she cares a lot about other people, how much fun she is to hang out with all the time, always silly and fun in the right ways, and serious when she needs to be. She enjoys playing video games with me….and puts up with my need for video games/board games. She is cute. I can just chill and do my thing, and she can chill and do her thing, and then we can chill together. I like that we can have serious conversations, but that most of the time we just have silly ones. I like that we are raising two adorable puppies together. She is the most dope person I have ever met.

Rich: In a few sentences, let me know what you love about Nate. How would you brag about him?

Lindsey: Things I love about Nate: his dance skills, his passion for telling dad jokes (that are pretty terrible, but sometimes funny), his smile, and how caring he is about family/friends. He also is pretty cute and fun, and knows how to make me laugh….and his laugh is the best thing ever. He has a ridiculous love for waffle-weave fabric. He will watch Sex and the City and terrible shows like the Bachelor/Bachelorette with me. He can rap all of “Regulators”. He is quirky and awesome, and comfortable/fun to be around. He is adorable when he is hanging out with our puppies. I would brag that he could win any dance off, that he is smart, and mega adorable.
